​My name is Ivan Smith and I am the Ohio Broker / Owner of Serenity Realty. We currently have three offices - Toledo, Columbus,  S.E. Michigan, and coming soon to Florida.

I grew up in South Toledo and still reside in the Greater Toledo area today. I am an O.L.P.H. and Maumee High School Alumni and Penta Career Award Alumni. Being born and raised as a Toledo native gives me deep roots and relationships in our community.

I was first licensed in 2004 and was never shown what to do to be successful. I fell out of the business when the market crashed because I had no business plan, goals, or any systems to help me to be successful. I came back in 2001, joined a team, went to training every Tuesday night, and created a system to help with my business. During my first year back, I sold 33 properties, which grew to 55, then 77, then 88 - all in one year. I was on a traditional 50/50 split on everything, so I soon decided it was time to leave the team I was on and start my own. I created my team, The Office of Ivan Smith, which still thrives today. We exist for new agents who are looking for assistance with leads, procedures, training, and more. In 2017, I sold 108 houses, making it my best year ever! My team grew from three to eight quickly, and we had all the qualifications for me to obtain my Ohio Brokers License. Serenity Realty was born. We started with eight and have grown to over 120 in just over 3 years.

It is an honor and privilege serving as Serenity Realty's MI Broker and the Lead Pastor for God's Instruments. With just under a decade of experience in the real estate industry, I have built a reputation as a trusted and reliable Broker who puts the needs of agents first.

My extensive knowledge of the local markets, coupled with my God given communication skills, allows me to guide the agents through the difficulties they may be facing with ease, ensuring that they receive the best possible outcome for their clients. 

Outside of real estate, I am also a devoted and passionate spiritual leader. As the Lead Pastor of God's Instruments, I am committed to helping the congregation grow in faith and understanding of God's word. I have a deep and abiding love for the community in which I live and serve. I would like people to know me for my compassionate and inclusive approach to ministry.

In addition to working as a real estate broker and pastor, I am also actively involved in our Outreach Center and Food Pantry. I believe in giving back to the community, and I am committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those who need it most.

Overall, I am an accomplished and multifaceted individual, doing my all, and giving my all to the glory of God. Who is deeply committed to both my professional and spiritual pursuits. I am dedicated to Serenity Realty, the church, and all those who may benefit from their existence. I pray to truly be inspiring to all those God has placed before me.

​Kristi joined the Serenity leadership team in January 2021 and provides the communication that keeps our agents in the loop, while also being a liaison for our affiliate partnerships. Additionally, she helps with company event planning and office administration as well as providing assistance to the principal broker with his client and outside agent communications.

Kristi and her husband have been married for over 20 years and have two sons. They own and operate several businesses in the greater Toledo area.

​Jacob Steenrod is a licensed realtor with over three years of experience in the industry. He graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and holds real estate licenses in both Michigan and Ohio. With a proven track record of selling, Jacob has established himself as a successful real estate professional in the region.

As the Managing Partner at Serenity Realty, Jacob is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and strategy of the Michigan side of the brokerage. This includes recruiting new agents, providing support and leadership to current agents, and answering questions. Jacob's dedication to his work is evident in his recognition as the top producing agent in Michigan by volume within the brokerage last year.

Jacob's passion for helping his clients is evident in his deep understanding of the real estate market and his commitment to providing exceptional service. Outside of work, Jacob enjoys working out, spending time with his wife Haley and their two dogs Benji and Piper, and exploring nature.

​A counselor, turned Real Estate Professional, Patrick received his sales license in 2015 and his brokers license in 2021. Prior to real estate he earned a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Toledo. He has a record of being a regional top producer and has served on numerous committees at the board level including the Legislative Affairs and Professional Standards committees and is a graduate of the Northwest Ohio Board of Realtors leadership academy.
